The 2005 Victory Freedom V-Twin Engine
Appropriate that it goes in a frame. Spend any time experiencing a Freedom? V-Twin engine, and one thing is certain: This is so much more than just internal combustion. After all, this is the heart and soul of The New American Motorcycle?. So it goes without saying, when it came time to build these engines, we took the time to do them right.
The 92 cubic inch version makes a return to the Freedom lineup for Model Year 2005. And with good reason. These powertrains have been raising eyebrows from the moment they hit the streets. The Freedom 92 is a masterful combination of form and function. It'll move you in more ways than one. Not only is it a visual knockout, it'll kick some tail when fired up. The Freedom 92 features an overhead-cam, 4-valve design for some gorgeous top-end pull. It's fuel-injected, so it starts easily and smoothly in any condition and provides the kind of throttle response that can politely be described as crisp. Freedom 92 is rigid-mounted to the frame, so you get to feel the beauty of 80 horses at work. But we counterbalanced it, so the vibrations that come from mighty V-Twin power never make their way to the rider.
