ATV Connection Forums - I am about to spend $1000+ on wheels for Vforce.

the ITP Baja series 4 on 137mm wheels were made for your quad, I run a set of 9" X 9" on the rears of my Prairie for hare scramble racing ...I ( poor mans bead lock the tires to them, 1 stainless screw every other hole, inside & out... you could also put a set of ITP's new cast C Locker wheels on the rear, if you wanted to try going to 12" wheels... the C Locker may be available in a 10" wheel also, which would most likely be available in both bolt patterns... I agree with the others on the tire diameter, I run 22" tires on the Baja wheels, & I lose 4-5 mph top speed, & a stock 650 will beat me through the 1/4 mile easily... if your racing distance is shorter & traction is very good, smaller tires could have some advantage, but more than likely, the tourqe of the big V twin will spin even a 25" tire mounted on your V... tire tread is probably more important than the diameter... the distance, & racing surface should be as critical to chooseing your tire... hope this helps...WAM
