Ever done a plug chop? (Run wide open, and hit the kill switch.. pull the plug and read the color?)
Ideally, when jetted correctly... the circlip on the needle would be pretty close to centered.
Oh, by the way... I ABSOLUTELY loved your website, and photo's of you and your toy's!! Sure would like to come and play with you in the dirt!!!! Keep up the good work! and HAVE FUN!!
Well as soon as I get mine running again I willl have to try that method (plug chop)... I blew the base gasket out of mine yesterday on the trails... Had to make an "emergency" run to the parts house to get a new gasket kit so I can get it up and running for this weekend again.......
The carb was one I had set up for my 250R Honda and it actually runs better than the one that was on it... It is still running lean though...
Thanks for the complement on my website - glad you liked it..
