Ordering: the Nitty Gritty
We accept orders on-line, by phone, fax, e-mail, or snail mail. Shipping charges will vary depending on your location, and the weight and size of the package. We ship packages on the same day of your order (on in stock items). We do not charge for backordered items unless it requires special ordering and you've asked us to do so.
All packages are insured and are sent via courier ground service unless an other carrier is requested (Post, Greyhound, etc.). Please quote the part numbers listed in our price lists in all your orders. This helps speed up the whole process. If you are unsure if the part number you are listing is the correct item for your machine and you have the actual Piaggio or Innocenti part number, please make note of it.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Bank Drafts, Money Orders, and PayPal.
If you fax or snail-mail your order please do not forget to include your billing address, shipping address (if different), daytime phone number, and preferred method of payment. You will receive a phone call to confirm the availability of requested parts and we will provide you with a total inclusive of shipping. If you're sending a check or money order with your snail-mailed order it is best to give us a quick call to confirm the amount to send. If you send a check or money order that will not cover the total of the invoice we can not send out the package until it is paid in full. Should your check or money order exceed the total invoice amount we will hold the difference as shop credit to be applied to your next order.
Please keep in mind that we DO NOT ship packages C.O.D. anywhere. We also DO NOT ship to Post Office Boxes, Military Post Offices within the US or abroad. We are not responsible for any duties or taxes that might be charged at your end.
Return Policy
Unwanted parts returned to us are subject to a 15% restocking charge. Unwanted parts must be returned in or with their original packaging within 15 days from date of sale otherwise no credit will be given. Incorrect or defective parts must be returned to us within 15 days from date of sale; after 15 days a 15% restocking charge applies. All returns must first be authorized by us. Should you need to return an item you must first call us to receive a Return Number. Items with a retail value of over $50 must be returned to us by a carrier that offers tracking. Your name, address, phone number, and original invoice number OR a copy of the original invoice with the Return Number MUST accompany the item you are returning. Shipping charges for any item returned is at the customers expense. Scooter Md Services will cover the cost of the shipping of replacement item(s) to the customer only if the item(s) are incorrect or defective.
Special order items or items we've listed as POA (priced on availability) are a final sale. No returns will be accepted.
Store credit only on authorized returns; NO cash refunds. No returns on electrical, electronic, or used item(s). All sales final.
No refunds on any scooters sold through our shop. All sales are final.
Warranty Disclaimer
Scooter Md Services makes no warranty as to the products it distributes, expressed or implied, including without limitation any warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. However, Scooter Md Services, will pass on any and all warranties made by the original manufacturer, who has the sole responsibility for performing any such warranties. The manufacturer shall be solely responsible for any damages to person or property arising from the design, manufacture and testing of its products. Scooter Md Services shall not be liable for any direct, incidental or consequential damages as a result of any manufacturers breach of its warranty.
