We went out about four times and had a great day. It definitely made up for Friday.
Sunday we decided to get an early start back and headed out without doing any offroading. It was a hard choice to make but we were able to take it easy going home, stopping for breakfast and such, so the trip back wasn't as bad. Now that we know how to get to Christmas Valley, we'll definitely head back there again. We just have to schedule more time off to make it worthwhile. Three days was really not enough for such a long trip (five hours from Portland).
