Flint Quarry Trail at West TysonThis trail was built in September of 2000 with the help of over 90 volunteers!!! Thanks to GORC member Sam Mitchell (trail designer and advocate), who with the help of Sue Kuhnert from St. Louis County Parks, put on the largest and most successfull workdays ever in St. Louis.
The Flint Quarry Trail is a 1.5 mile addition to the Chubb Trail that offers more hilly riding options on the Tyson Park side of the Chubb Trail.
The St. Louis County Parks Department has provided area mountain bikers with some of the best, well maintained trails that the region has to offer.
GORC hopes to continue to support this great relationship and help build on it (literally) by working with the Parks Dept. to add new trails each year.

The Chubb Trail Map. The yellow line is the Flint Quarry Trail. When riding Chubb you'll come to a picnic table at the top of a hill. The Flint Quarry Trail is perpendicular to the table. Hell, if I remember right, there's even a post marking it. Have fun.
