Please note: Racers to supply own canoe and kayaks - outfitters to be listed soon and loading instructions to come. Race divisions for Canoe/Kayak race include: solo open kayak/canoe, two-person open canoe, two-person co-ed canoe, two-person open kayak. Two person teams times will be combined for total team time. Must have minimum of 5 teams in each category to be eligible for prizing
All race fees include OAT One-Day Membership. OAT members take $5 off of the price for all races including KOS.

Race Course and Maps
Swim/Kayak/Canoe: One loop course on Fanshawe Lake. Wetsuits are mandatory for the swim.
MOUNTAIN Bike: One beautiful single/double track. This loop around Fanshawe Lake is mainly flat with a varied terrain including beginner/intermediate sections with some challenging sections.
TRAIL Runs
Mountain Bike Duathlon Run 1: a 2.5k (blue trail markings on map)
From the transition area, a small incline at the start moving to single track and through the campground and back onto the X-C ski trails back to the Transition Area.
Triathlon Run and Mountain Bike Duathlon Run 2: a 6km Trail Run (see red trail markings on map) for Tri, Run 2 for MTB Du
Short road run before entering Green Trail entrance. Water Station at trail entrance.
Green Trail: flat double track X-C ski trails.
Combination of tight single track with small decline towards Thames River and X-C ski trails with small incline back into a soft run through the pines on single track back to road to finish line.

Water Quality Policy
The Kids in Dirt Duathlon course consists of an out and back run grassy loop along the "Yellow Trail" that extends from the beach pavilion to the just beyond the ski centre. Markers and volunteers will be placed at 250m, 500m, 1000m, 1500m increments.
The bike course is done completely on wide X-C ski trails with one small incline from the beach pavilion. The course skirts the camp ground before coming back onto the road back to the beach pavilion area.
2.5km Mountain Bike Loop: From the transition area, small incline at start, combination of non-technical smooth single track and double track X-C ski trails.
Kids In Dirt Maps Directions To The Race
From the 401: Take the 401 to the Airport Road exit in London. Travel north on Airport Road to Huron. Turn left on Huron and travel west to Clarke Rd. Turn right (north) on Clarke Road. Entrance to Fanshawe Conservation Area ia approximately 750m north on the right. Follow the signs in the park.
