BMF KELSO SHOW 2005 PREVIEW.

Looking ahead to the BMF Kelso show, sponsored by Carole Nash Insurance, which takes place on 17th July 2005;
BMF KELSO - SO GOOD TO GO TO!
Sunday 17th July, Springwood Park Kelso
Kelso Bikefest, now in its sixth year at this popular Scottish venue, has gained an enviable reputation as much more than a bike show. It's been embraced as a real local event by the people of Kelso and now coincides with all the festivities of the Kelso Civic Week.
Set in Border country, the BMF's Kelso Bikefest, sponsored by Carole Nash Insurance, is held in Kelso's Springwood Park on the banks of the river Tweed, renowned as being in fantastic biking country.
The Sunday will see ever-popular stunt riders Jake Semtex and Flyin' Ryan take to the arena and put on a thrilling display of quad and bike stunts, while up above, the sky becomes the arena for the Denny Dobson Air Display Team, defying gravity as wings replace wheels for a display of precision flying.
Perhaps less precision will be applied to the have-a-go Long Jump competition, but with ¡ê100 prize money for the best attempt at flying off a ramp, there are bound to be plenty of takers!
Immaculate bikes of all types from all eras will be drawn like a magnet to the Best in Show competition, this time given a prime spot next to the main arena. But also a popular draw of a different type will be the Carole Nash Roadshow with live bands and plenty of giveaways.
For all those camping over the weekend, there are live bands on the Friday and Saturday plus an organised ride out on the Saturday through the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside, something not to be missed.
With plenty of trade and club stands plus all the fun of a traditional fairground, anyone can see why 'Kelso is so good to go to.'
