Hi, dont worry, once you get the hang of it its not that hard. Took me ages to work out what to do.
Once your onto the path and can see the quad bike ahead of you, take the first short cut and come round infront of the quad bike, when it comes up to you press space! But the culprit will still get away. Continue to chase him and take the next short cut which i think is on you left...do the same thing as before, come up infront of the quad bike and press space. This should make the quad bike stop, and you can discover the identity of the rider.
Hope this helps.
P.S, i had hardly any stamina to, but with a couple of trys you should be able to do it anyway even with low stamina.
