The Moped Army will be hosting their 8th Moped BBQ this Memorial Day at 1977 Mopeds. Everyone is welcome. Please bring food to share for the Monday BBQ.

Specific times for some gatherings have not yet been determined. Check back here as we get closer to the date. Unless noted otherwise, all events will begin at 1977 Mopeds, 569 Portage Street.
Friday: May 23rd
Gathering and ride in the evening.
Saturday: May 24th
Moped breakfast at the Main Street Cafe
Moped repair, cleaning, and tuning in the morning and early afternoon.
Large group ride all around Kalamazoo, highlighting the locations of Monday's race.
Movie watching in the evening, hopefully with an outdoor projection.
Sunday: May 25th
Moped breakfast at the Main Street Cafe
Moped repair, cleaning, and tuning in the morning and early afternoon.
Relay race in the early evening. Start forming your teams of four people now.
The evening event hasn't been determined. Possibly some Karaoke.
Monday: May 26th
At 10a.m. the BBQ begins. The mopeds start showing up from everywhere.
Hanging out, small group rides, moped showcasing, etc. all afternoon.
At 5p.m. the no rules race across town begins. See below for race locations and maps.
Race Locations
Each racer must go to three different location of their choice and pick up a flyer. The first one back to the race start point with the flyers wins. There are no rules as to route or method of racing, though you can't have an upgrade kit on your moped. Performance parts are okay.
