Motovan Sponsors The CMRC Series
Two Year Contract To Support MX In Canada
Thursday, April 14 th, 2005 (Boucherville, Quebec) ¨C Recently, Motovan Corporation finalized an agreement with the CMRC to become the official sponsor for the 2005 and 2006 Canadian Motocross Series. From regionals to provincials, and from national qualifiers to the nationals, across Canada, Motovan and its suppliers will be directly involved in every aspect of the series. This is by far the largest commitment Motovan Corporation has ever made directly to the Canadian Motocross scene, and they are excited to be involved at every level.
The CMRC approached Motovan in mid February with the opportunity of sponsoring the Canadian series, as a previous sponsor dropped out of the sponsorship of the series. Negotiations began between the CMRC and Motovan as well as between Motovan and its suppliers for interest in the title sponsorship of the various series.
The entire Canadian Series consists of rounds from coast to coast - Atlantic Series, Vancouver Island Series, BC Mainland Series, BC Interior Series, Alberta Series, Manitoba Series, Saskatchewan Series, Central/Northern Ontario Series, South Western Ontario Series, Eastern Canada ATV Series, Eastern Ontario Series, Quebec Series, National Series. With over 120 rounds from amateur to pro, Motovan and its suppliers will have a dominant presence in the motocross scene during the coming season.

Several of Motovan's strongest brands will be partaking in the sponsorship of the series over the coming two year contract (2005 and 2006). At the National level, you will see the following exclusive title sponsors: Kenda for tires, Silkolene for lubricants, and Shoei for helmets. Other regional and provincial rounds are being sponsored by series by geographic location.
