Hi all:
All this work on the sandrail has made me a fan of the Bug. Going to buy one. going to use it as a daily driver, but eventually I'd probably want to turn it into a Baja Bug as its no collector's item. I know the Super Beetle is a poor choice for a Baja due to its McPhearson struts. Is it possible/reasonable to modify the Super Beetle suspension to make a good Baja or is it a lost cause. I do look the idea of a Super as its a little roomier, but if its a no, then its a no. Finally found what I was looking for (factory sunroof w/out motor), but its in the Super Beetle form. Thanks as always.
