Ever thought you should have been a pop idol? Here's your chance to prove it without being humiliated by an egomaniac in high-waisted pants. This great day gives you the chance to help lay down your backing track, let rip in the studio recording your favourite song, and then star in your own video (good to see that hedonism isn't dead).
An engineer will greet you on arrival and take you through the whole process. If you've got your own backing track already, just bring it along on CD, and if you think you'll need any props for your performance - the mind boggles - then bring them along too (the studio has microphones). As the video is shot against a blue screen (onto which you can choose to project a plethora of backgrounds and funky effects) it's best not to come along wearing anything blue - or bits of you may alarmingly disappear against the background.
Once you've blasted your vocal chords and strutted your funky stuff, you'll be presented with a CD of your great performance, and a VHS video of your starring role.

On purchasing this experience you will be sent a personalised gift certificate with 10 months validity.
2 weeks' notice is required for backing tracks to be made ready.
If you want to bring along a backing track, you can, in any format, though CD is preferred.
You will be filmed miming to the song against a blue screen.
Once the filming is complete, the video will then be edited with your help and moving backgrounds will be added.
You may want a natural sunset, stormy clouds, or perhaps something more outrageous from the huge collection of backgrounds.
You will receive both a CD of the track and a VHS video of your performance.
You may want to bring some props for this part, microphones can be provided, guitars etc if required. (Please note, it is advisable to avoid blue clothing).
Good singing is optional!
