There is more than just the car to consider.
You need a tow vehicle, trailer, tools, parts, camping gear / RV, etc.
If you want to buy new there are a number of outfits in Los Angles that sell turn key buggies from a basic $10,000 sandrail to $100,000+ racecars with paddle tires.
Getting your feet wet with a used car is a popular option and can save alot of money if you get the trailer, parts etc as part of the deal.
