Kennedy Engineering and other folks make adapters to bolt Honda and Corvair engines to a VW tranny. Wonder if those same adapters could work the other way -- to bolt the tranny to a VW engine. Hmmmmm. Nice idea, but wouldn't the orientation of the engine be all wrong for the Honda setup? Hondas are front wheel drive, and their engines sit sideways in the engine bay.....
