METALCRAFT, INC and its SEA-FIRE MARINE Division, has over 30 years of experience with fire suppression technology. In combination, we are a global leader in the design and manufacture of fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems for the marine and pleasure craft industry. METALCRAFT, INC. is a leading manufacturer of portable fire extinguishers for the United States Government. We have supplied in excess of 1 million extinguishers to various governmental agencies. Over the years our portable fire extinguishers have flown in many space missions, currently they are in service on the NASA shuttles. SEA-FIRE has a complete line of Dry Chemical Portable Fire Extinguishers, U. L. listed and U.S.C.G. approved, primarily supplied to the marine industry.
METALCRAFT'S SEA-FIRE Division has designed, and developed an engineered automatic fire suppression system using FM-200? an EPA approved, environmentally responsible fire suppression agent. SEA-FIRE Division has conducted extensive fire testing with several fire-extinguishing agents in conjunction with Marine testing Laboratories, Underwriters Laboratories, Factory Mutual Research, American Bureau of Shipping and other International agencies. The systems have been subjected to vigorous testing by Metalcraft Quality Personnel and Factory Mutual Research Corporation. The FM-200 suppression systems carry a United States Coast Guard approval, are CE component certified for the European Union Market. The systems are also approved by DNV (Det Norske Veritas), and Lloyds, RINA, ABS approvals are pending. The fire suppression systems and products offered by SEA-FIRE MARINE are highly flexible and custom configured to cater to all of our marine customers, from the smallest system to the largest we provide and implement a very stringent quality standard to all phases of design, manufacture and testing.
METALCRAFT, INC and its SEA-FIRE MARINE Division suppression systems and fire protection products have been and are being used successfully in a large number of vessels and various facilities in a growing number of small and large scale applications worldwide. Our fire protection systems provide protection solutions for small pleasure craft with our pre-engineered systems to custom solutions for large-scale applications in ocean going vessels and other offshore facilities. Our quality products can be found in many areas including small pleasure craft, mega yachts, commercial shipping, military, governmental, transportation and offshore facilities.
METALCRAFT has developed in conjunction with Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, a line of portable FM-200?fire extinguishers Applications for these extinguishers include aerospace, electronic facilities, data centers, mission critical facilities, defense and marine use.
