Galaxy faces big friendly
Real Madrid will play twice in U.S.

CARSON - David Beckham, Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane playing at Home Depot Center? Incredible, but true.
It became official Thursday when officials of Real Madrid, among the world's most prestigious soccer clubs, announced it will come to the United States next month for "friendly" games in Carson and Chicago.
The nine-time European club champion will face the Galaxy on July 18 or 19 at Home Depot Center after taking on Mexican power Guadalajara on July 16 at Soldier Field.
Former Spanish great Emilio Butragueno, Real Madrid's vice president and director of sport, promised "all of our players will be there."
Real Madrid's star-studded roster features English midfielder Beckham and forward Michael Owen, Brazilian striker Ronaldo and wing-back Roberto Carlos, French playmaker Zidane, Portuguese midfielder Luis Figo and Spanish forward Raul.
