Corbin Saddle for Honda 250 EX Quad
Corbin's seat is a complete redesign of the quad perch and we've taken a whole new approach to how your bike should ride. Our new design has taken the principal elements of the hugely popular Corbin saddle for street bikes and applied them to the off-road environment. Yeah, we know you don't spend a lot of time with your posterior planted while you're tearing it up, but when you do get the chance, you'll be glad it's there.
The first thing you'll notice is how well the Corbin saddle integrates visually with the EX... in short, it looks cool! Our seat provides a precision fit to the bodywork and installs very easily with our new key lock system. Now throw a leg over it and you'll notice a wider, more level seating platform. This shaping eliminates the centralized body pressure caused by the stock seat and makes it easier to slide forward and backward for control.
Hanging off the bike is not a problem... in fact, it works excellent. Our grippy "Black Husky" seat insert is a durable fabric material backed with rubber for comfort and water resistance. Over the edges we run our new Asphalt material to add additional grip. The wider, flat platform and sticky materials give you excellent control and help hold you body in position when you're hanging off the side.
When you get a chance to just putt it along and catch your breath, slide your body back towards the rear of the bike and you'll find a nice, wide perch. We've dished the seating in this area to conform better to the shape of your body and provide ergonomic support without hot spots. On top we offer a range of color options if you'd like to customize your ride more. As shown, the saddle is dressed with Black Husky seating, Asphalt edges, Yellow Carbon-Fiber sides and Asphalt Tail and Nose pieces. To coordinate with the Red EX, we recommend changing the side panels to our new Red Carbon Fiber. Corbin uses only the finest, most colorfast and durable vinyl materials available for our Quad and Dual Sport saddles.
Again, notice the precision fit of the Corbin basepan to the bodywork of the EX. Our patented molding and manufacturing processes allow us to create a part that fits close to the body for a very clean look. Stock nylon basepans are too flexible for this kind of fitment. Corbin's quad saddle comes with a special latch bracket that installs with just two bolts. Once the bracket is installed, your new seat will mount and remove with the built in key lock on the right side. Simple!
Inside we use our high density Comfort Cell? foam for firm support that won't break down while you're riding. Comfort cell? is one of the critical elements to Corbin's legendary saddle comfort. Over 36 years of saddle making experience goes into the production of the Corbin seat and we carefully choose the specialty materials used in their manufacture.
