Road & Track Covers the MINI
Road & Track's February 2002 cover story calls the new MINI Cooper "a little runabout with a big heart and soul". The nine-page article presents the technical data and driver's comments on a test drive on the BMW test track (short story: they like it!). But best of all, it contains frequent fond references to the original Mini, and how the New MINI compares to the perormance, spirit, and just plain FUN of its ancestor. The issue is on sale NOW at your local newsstand.
And in R&T's SPORT section, the Mini Mania MINI is shown on the track at the Mini Challenge at Laguna Seca (although we would like to correct the caption to read, "which made a respectable showing at Laguna..."!) Page 122, not that we're counting!
