At least, you're still legally allowed to use Invision after the 1 year if you do pay the US$70, as opposed to vB (you're supposed to stop using it with vB if you pay their 1-year licence (US$85) - I don't know whether it's enforced within the software or what - whereas with IPB you just don't get any more support/upgrades).
