  The ball is great once you blow it up.
  The pump that comes with the ball is nearly 100% useless. I went to the gas station and blew up it no sweat! If you have an air compressor at your home it should be a breeze.....

• good for core strengthening
  You can blow the ball up bigger than it looks like it can hold. USE THE MEASURING TAPE -- it's okay! :) It won't work well if it's softer than it should be. Good buy --cheap, ships fast, works well. The air pump, the measuring tape and an exercise chart are included. ...more info

  I love this ball! I find that I have to pump it back up after a month or so, but maybe it's just how it's supposed to work? I really enjoy this ball paired with Gaiam's Balance Ball DVD. Great workout for the core!...more info

  Good sturdy product with a great wall chart for doing exercises. A bit difficult to inflate to the proper size. Directions for that part were not clear....more info
• Toxic smell!
  I can't speak for the functionality of the ball because as soon as I took it out of the box the plastic smell made me sick; just try opening a new shower curtain liner and multiply that smell by 10. My intuition also tells me that anything that reeks like this is toxic to inhale. I left it out for 3 weeks, even washed it but to no avail. Anyone sensitive to toxic chemicals or plastics should steer clear of this one.
  Nu-Source has a similar body ball that doesn't stink. If you have the same reaction to the Valeo plastic I recommend you try the Nu-Source instead.You can find it on Amazon.com...more info

• Too small for me; go up a size if you're on the line
  I wasn't sure which size to buy; the description advised a 55 cm ball for 5'1" to 5'3" and a 65 cm for 5'4" to 5'7" or something. I'm on the borderline at 5'3 1/2"-ish, but I ordered the 55 cm because I didn't want it to be hard to maneuver doing leg work. I should have ordered the next size up. My fiance (who is a physical therapist aid and inflates these balls all the time at work) inflated it for me and when I sit on the ball I am too low to the ground to do crunches or anything (my thighs are not parallel to the ground so my butt is too low and I slide right off). I weigh 115 lbs. so I know I am not too heavy for the ball. Ladies, if you're on the line, go up a size! ...more info

  The ball was perfect for my height 5'0. The pump was easy to use. This ball is just a joy to exercise with. And if you want ideas, YouTube has a lot of free videos with the ball. Can I say that on here? Anyway... Good ball!!!...more info
• This ball doesn't hold air.
  This ball doesn't hold air. I'm not sure if it oozes air from the small hole it came with or the valve. The hole is rather a thin spot (in the already thin rubber )that might of developed after sticking to itself. Not worth the money. I don't think it would pop with average weight put on it. ...more info
• Sturdy and easy to use
  This exercise ball was easy to inflate and easy to use. It helps to do crunches without any strain on the back.

• Not good quality
  When I took it out of the box, besides its extremely strong chemical odor, I noticed it seemed to have some kind of wet substance all over it that rubbed off on my hands when I touched it (the consistency of lotion). I have no idea what it was. On the plus side, it comes with a measuring tape to let you know when it is inflated enough. However, the pump that comes with it was extremely labor intensive and a lot of pumping didn't accomplish much. The smell and the wet feel of the plastic was enough for me. I'm going to buy another higher quality brand. I guess you get what you pay for!...more info

• JUNK
  Blew up the ball according to instruction. Heard air escaping immediately. Checked over ball, and saw it had a nick/small cut in it where air was escapinging. Pressed LIGHTLY on the area to further assess, and ball tore. NEVER even got to use it. ABSOLUTE JUNK....more info

  This product lived up to its pr. It was a little harder to inflate than stated on the pkg (I needed a second person and a motorized pump) - but its size is good and it does everything I need it to. It's not exactly a rocket science thing - but it's a good product and what I anticipated...more info
• Not big enough for 5'4
  I am 5'4 and this is a bit small for me. I've heard your legs should make a 90 degree angle when you sit on it. However, my knees go slightly up rather than being straight or slightly pointing down. A 65 cm ball might have been more suitable for me, especially since I would have more control over adjusting it for my height. It is written both on the box and the product description here that it is for those who are 5'0-5'3 but I didn't see it. I went by the recommendation of other sites and sources. I didn't have a problem with the pump. It reminded me of a Playskool toy but it worked fine for me. A little tiring, but easy to use. I was able to finish pumping in around 5 minutes. The ball itself seems okay. Nothing exceptional nor bad quality---just a basic, average exercise ball. I received the creamy pearl color which I would rather have anyway. The ball also arrives very sticky so it needs to be wiped well. ...more info

  Like C. Richards, below, my ball burst after less than a year of light use. I wasn't seriously hurt, but it was a fairly ridiculous spectacle. There's no reason the material should fail so quickly if it's not being misused and abused....more info

  It took me a while to figure out which size I needed (55cm is good for my 5"4 frame, anything bigger is too much), but this balance works great! Very sturdy, durable, good color, I have nothing negative to say....more info
• Ball is bigger than expected! Air pump is terrible!
  The air pump nozzle that you insert into the ball was cracked and had to be taped about 2 minutes into the inflation process. The air pump that you press to inflate also cracked down the center where there is a plastic seam and had to be taped. The inflation process was a workout on its own. The ball is huge. It doesnt fit through doorways without a little struggle and pushing and pulling. I am 5 foot 6 and this ball is WAY to big for me. I already fell off of it. I am enjoying it except it is just way too big. I would've gotten the smaller one or even the smallest one if I realized that this one was for really tall people. My feet dont reach the ground for some exercises. My arms dont reach for others. I still love it and have been having fun just playing and stretching on it.
  
  All in all, its great. It would have been easier and faster to blow this up like a pool intertube. The pump sucked and was a piece of junk.

• Excercise Ball
  The Valeo exercise ball is a great buy. Priced better than the stores. I use it daily in my weight training exercises. Great for sit ups. At 75 cm it is almost too big. At 5' 10 I believe I will buy another one 55cm and a small one for situps and leg raises. The big one is great for squats against the wall or dumbell presses. The ball keeps your back straight and helps maintain balance....more info
• ball developed hole after 1.5 months
  This ball randomly sprung a leak after only 1.5 months of use. I was initially relatively happy with the purchase, given the price and positive reviews. However, after my experience, I would not recommend it.
  
  Furthermore, the really cheap pump that comes with the ball cracked during the first pump, and I had to use duct tape to hold it together to finish inflating the ball.

• Does What It is Supposed To
  Ball appears to be made of quality material. The pump is not hard to figure out. You do have to pump for awhile to get the air in, but you are done in under ten minutes. They include a measuring tape that you put the pump through so you know what its inflated just right, which I thought was useful. I'm 5'2-5'3 and the ball was a good size....more info
