Customer Reviews:- Hooked for life
Okay. I have been drinking coffee my whole life. Somedays it was better than others. No matter how precise I tried to make my measurements, they never were the same. Slightly too strong, slightly too weak, etc...Never again will I purchase a regular coffee maker. This is the best thing I have found in a long time. Every cup is perfect! I have purchased a bunch of trial packs, and I haven't found one that I didn't like. I also wanted an occasional cup in the afternoon, but didn't want to bother with making a pot. This is fantastic, and for guests, you always have the right thing. And Fast too! Push the button, get the creamer out of the fridge, AND THE COFFEE IS READY!!!! No way will you be dissappointed in this one! Convert for LIFE!...more info - The only coffee maker you should own
This item just arrived yesterday. I took it out and used it for the 1st time this morning. I've used an older model at work and the coffee was always delicious. The best thing about this model is that you aren't restricted to using only the coffee sold specifically for this coffee maker. They have a filter that you replace (easily) so that you can use your own fresh ground coffee. This is great since there is a high end cafe' downtown that sells rare high end coffee. You are not limited to coffee, you can also brew tea and hot chocolate. It has an adjust temperature setting to brew your coffee at a lower temperature. If your anything like me and hate waiting 10 minutes for your coffee to cool down, this is a blessing. The design also looks great in my kitchen.
Don't even bother shopping for something better, because you won't find a coffee maker much more versatile and affordable then this one....more info - Our Second Keurig
We loved the first one (B70) so much, we bought this one as a smaller one for our motor home. We love the B70. Only used this one on one trip, but so far, so good!...more info - Handy & Easy
I've had this for a few years now. I love that it's so easy to make coffee and that you have instant hot water when you need it. The only thing that I don't like is that I have tried many flavors of coffee and their all way too strong to just make 1 cup like it is designed to do. I like my coffee strong, but this is way too strong. Everyone that has ever came to my house and tried it said the same thing. What we do is make 2 or 3 cups of coffee with 1 pod. And, that is set on the largest cup setting. Or, we have the little basket that you can put your own coffee in and use instead of the pods. That way you can put as much coffee in as you like. Also it is cheaper than buying the pod things that are already premeasured. ...more info - Perfection
Being tired of wasting full pots of coffee or making 2 pots, decaf and reg, I purchased the Keurig and could not be happier. It is wonderful to have a fresh cup of nearly French pressed coffee in 30 seconds!! It is by far the best idea in coffee brewing since the first Mr Coffee....more info - Happy coffee consumer
I received my Keurig B 60 very fast. The coffee maker meets all of my expectations and more. Quick, convenient and consistent cup of coffee every time....more info - B60 dead at 15 months
As posted by others after about 14 months old my B60 began to not brew the proper amount of coffee and occasionally will not brew anything. This is happening more and more frequently. I don't expect it to last much longer....more info - Not for the normal strength coffee drinker.
I really want to love this machine... but, it took a lot of K-cups (which are not the cheapest) to get almost the right cup. I find that the different size choices are useless. The strength changes with each size. If you want a normal cup of coffee, strength wise, you must choose the smallest selection. The Keurig customer help line told us to buy the Bold coffees and use a smaller setting to get a decent cup of brew. For the price of each K-cup, and what one would expect from such a pricey machine, I shouldn't have to use for than one K-cup for one cup of coffee. Too weak. It was just a little disappointing.....
PS: Lately I've been using espresso for a cup of coffee. ...more info - Fabulous!
Great coffee maker! Great deal on it at Amazon! Only negative is it is a bit noisy. Everyone in our family can tailor their coffee or tea selections and hot chocolate is great for all!...more info - Pretty sweet machine!
We bought this unit as a gift for our "coffee loving" father (in-law). He loves getting coffee fast and easy--as he drinks lots of instant coffee. At my house we have the Keurig Platinum Addition and he (father in-law) really liked the coffee it makes. So, we got this unit (Special Edition) for him. I will say it's not as big or nice as our Platinum unit, but it brews the same quality coffee, and its awesome coffee! I will say--it's a little loud when heating the water. That's the only thing I can say negative about this unit. If you are wanting easy, fast, best tasting coffee--you will love having a Keurig!...more info - My Favorite Coffee-Maker of All time!
I bought a Keurig Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System a fews years back when the product was first launched. I was absolutely thrilled at the excellent quality of the coffee it brewed. The convenience of being able to make one cup at a time, especially since I live alone and hate the fuss of brewing a small pot which requires more work and, of course, more clean up, is well worth the initial investment on the cost of the machine - even in these difficult economic times. And I was so tired of wasting an entire pot of coffee, or making a pot only to find it stale and lukewarm later in the day.
Recently, my generous daughter bought me the latest, (or later), version of the appliance - the Keurig B60 Special Edition - and I am even happier with the results of this newer model. As with my original machine, making coffee is still a breeze, especially in the early morning when I am usually in a daze.
Added attractions to this new Keurig Special Edition B60 include a generous 48 oz. removable water reserve, and, unlike the prior machine's choice of 2 size cups, this coffee maker gives the consumer 3 different choices of cup size, including a 9.25 oz. serving, perfect for a traveling. A new temperature control feature allows one to choose the 19-degree F. temperature, or the cooler 187-degree temperature...so no more adding an ice cube to your cup of java. As with the older version, there is a removable stainless steel drip tray for easy cleaning
The Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System uses pre-measured, air tight portions called K-Cups and over 200 varieties of coffee, tea, cocoa and other hot beverages are offered. I love a freshly ground gourmet roast and have yet to be disappointed in the quality of my favorite roasts and flavors. I order my K-Cups online at a reasonable price and the delivery usually takes from 3 to 5 days. Easy to use? Just open the lid, insert the K-Cup of your choice, close the lid and select a cup size. There is also a 24-hour digital clock and programmable on-off timer.
The sleek chrome and black design looks wonderful in my kitchen. I know some people have complained about the noise during the brief brewing process. This has never bothered me, and we are talking about under a minute's worth of sound here. So no biggie! I cannot recommend this product highly enough. ENJOY!!
PS - of course, when brewing coffee for a crowd it is more economical to use the multiple cup coffee maker of your choice - automatic drip, French Press, percolator, etc..

I've had this specific model (B60) since last Christmas and I absolutely love it. Previously, I had the Senseo Coffeemaker, and I really liked it too, but, it was so messy changing out coffee pods. It's annoying to have to change this drippy mess each time I wanted to make a cup of coffee. Also, with the Senseo, there were very limited number of flavors and choices.
The Keurig Brewing System is automated, clean, easy to use. The reservoir holds enough water for several cups of coffee. The K-cups are easy to insert, and there's no drip when disposing of used ones.
And, best of all, there are literally dozens, if not hundreds of varieties of K-cups flavors. IT'S FANTASTIC! It's worth the extra money to spend on this unit. I don't think you will be disappointed....more info - Pretty good coffee maker
This coffee maker was given to me as a gift a few weeks before Christmas 08. I am a major coffee drinker and the first thing i noticed about this maker was that the coffee was not very strong. I don't even like my coffee that strong but this coffee was really weak even for me. However, I do enjoy having it with the flavored coffee and have noticed that i will use less if any creamer which saves money and calories. After having this coffee maker for about a month it brewed one day all by itself and then started blinking not ready and never worked again. Thankfully the people at Keurig were very nice and told me that my coffee maker had overheated and are sending me out a new one.
So just a few things to keep in mind.
1. makes weak coffee
2. this particular model atleast overheats.
I am still glad to have this maker though and will continue to use the new one being sent out to me. It makes coffee fast and looks nice on my counter. ...more info - fantabulous
this product was shipped quickly and safely. it was everything i imagined. the ease of using this coffee maker is superb....more info - Keurig B60,,,
It has been a while but I believe the shipper was Handy House. They provided VERY fast shipping and I would deal with them again.
About the B60 unit,it does everything it states. It is great for a person who does not want to make a big pot of coffee every time.
Only complaint would be the "10 second" pump cycle as is a bit noisy. The unit is quick and fast....more info - Easy, yes, delicious, no
I bought the Kuerig in Sept of 2008. I loved the easability of it, but found it very very noisy. I tried at least 50 different types of coffee and none of them knocked my socks off. I guess if you are not a serious coffee drinker then it would suffice. Also, the coffee is not very hot. I then tried sampling coffee from the new Dolce Gusto and I am sorry Kuerig, but you can't hold a candle. The Dolce makes drinks that rival any coffee house. It runs on 15 bars of pressure which aerates the coffee and foams the milk for cappuccino. You can make a cappuccino or a latte, from thought to cup in under two minutes. And it is so quiet, my husband doesn't need to turn the TV up everytime I want a cup of coffee...more info - i love this coffee maker!!
this is by far the best coffee maker! I never used to make coffee at home because I would end up dumping most of the pot in the sink and hated cleaning the filter and pot... with the keurig there is no waste, no mess and no clean up - just perfect coffee... I actually have one at home and at work on my desk now!! (and I threw out my fancy starbucks coffee maker for home, since I dont need it anymore)...more info - Couldn't be easier! Perfect for small households
This Keurig single-cup coffee maker is great for people who want American-style coffee made fresh with each cup, although you'll need to have the counter space for it to keep it set up all the time. Because water gets pumped immediately through the machine upon pressing one of the buttons, the ease of this machine is lost unless the water reservoir is kept filled and ready to brew.
For brewing, simply insert a pod/K-cup and select the serving size. In less than a minute, you'll have a hot, forced water-brewed cup of coffee. Tthe unit has three buttons that correspond to the desired size of the cup: small (demi-tasse), medium, and large. Since the amount of coffee in each pod remains constant, the size also determines strength of the brew. I prefer the middle size because the large is too weak for my tastes and the small produces too little coffee. (If you are looking for espresso and cappuccino, try Nespresso D290 Concept Espresso and Coffeemaker for similar ease of use and better coffee.)
If you drink a lot of coffee, this coffee maker may not be for you since it can be expensive per cup. If your household doesn't drink a lot, however, then it saves the waste of having to brew more cups than you want. The good news is that the K-cups come in a variety of brands and coffees. In addition, you can brew teas (try the Twinings teas) or hot chocolate.
I recommend the following coffees: Caribou Blend K-Cup Single-Serving Coffee 108 ct., Timothy's World Coffee, Midnight Magic, Extra Bold, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2), Timothy's World Coffee, Colombian, Decaffeinated, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2), Twinings English Breakfast Tea, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 25-Count Boxes (Pack of 2), Twinings Earl Grey Tea K-Cups, 25-Count Box (Pack of 2), Green Mountain K-Cup Single-Serving Coffee 108-ct.- Sumatran Reserve, and Timothy's World Coffee, Colombian, Decaffeinated, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2)

but the coffee is very mediocre at best. I am used to 8 O'Clock Columbia Supremo that I ground every morning. We had a terrific Mr. Coffee maker but after a few years it's leaking from the bottom. There is no comparison between the Keurig Model 60 and almost any decent coffee maker.
I even tried the 8 O'Clock coffee in the Keurig and it was just about the same as the prepackaged coffee. The larger the cup the worse the coffee and the smaller cups make coffee that taste powdery and not very hot. I much prefer a Melita 2 or 4 cup to the Keurig. It cost me 80 cents a cup because I need two. Fresh 7-11 coffee is far superior and only a little more money. The Keurig reminds me of luke warm french press coffee, that is at the Keuring 5.5 oz level. At the larger sized it tastes like crappy cafeteria coffee.
I have nothing good to say about the Keurig other than it's great for an office where a large variety is needed and it does make a fast and easy cup of coffee. But for that large morning cup I don't want warm coffee that taste like every ounce for any favor has been extruded out of it. Grinding my own coffee, which I buy on sale at buy one get one free sales costs me 18 cents a cup. However, the money isn't the issue, the Keurig coffee doesn't do it for my wife and me. I intend to return it. ...more info - Great Coffee Maker
I am very happy with this coffee maker and the selections of coffee available for my choosing. I am drinking more coffee now no fault of the machine :). My niece had the same machine and I was impressed with its workings and results. I would not hesitate to recommend this fine product !!

I would highly recommend the Keurig to anyone who is interested in great tasting coffee really quick. The unit heats up quickly, discharges quickly and most important, makes a great cup of coffee. There is a wide range of coffees to choose from, so there is a roast for everyone. The unit also makes tea great, but that can be pricey as a tea bag is only pennies.
All in all, this unit is the best single cup brewer I have ever used....more info - Best In Class
After more than 30 years of drinking coffee with various home coffee makers, I found the Kuerig coffee maker. By far this is the best coffee maker I have ever used. We have one at home and another at the office. After about a year the office machine started have a few issues (the home unit has worked flawlessly for over 2 years) and I called Kuerig customer service to see what could be done. After talking to a tech for a few minutes, they offered to send me a new machine at no cost. Not only do I rate their coffee maker 5 stars, their service rates 5 stars, too. I'm sure I will be a customer for life....more info - Great Machine, but bitter coffee.
The coffee maker works well and is all that is advertized. We can't , however find coffees we like. They are mostly way too strong.
The product should come with a larger "assortment" of coffees to try....more info - There's Nothing Left to Say
I think it's all been covered but I love this machine. A fresh cup any time of day. A fresh hot cup in 60 seconds. No more wasted coffee. No arguing about what kind of pot to make. Always coffee on when friends drop by.
I can even keep some fresh decaf around for the couple of times a year someone asks for it....more info - Time saver
Works fine. you do not need the timer since the time to heat to ready is very short!...more info - LOVE IT!!
I bought my Keurig a couple of months ago. I love this machine. I am the only coffee drinker in the house and only have a couple cups a day. I bought the reusable filter as well. I really like the Donut Shop K-cups as well as Caribou Columbia coffee. It is simple to use and my kids like that they can have hot cocoa at a press of the button.
It can be noisy but I don't feel it is any louder than my grind and brew. I fill the tank a couple of times a week and first thing in the morning I place in my k-cup press the button and by the time I get the dog outside and walk into the kitchen coffee is ready for me.
The best part is on a very cold evening I was able to offer a hot cup of coffee to a delivery man that still had more to do. I bought some hot cups to go for this reason. ...more info - Awesome coffee maker.....
Awesome coffee maker. It brews up an awesome cup of coffee. Our Bible Study can enjoy their own selection, nice and hot and fresh every Tuesday morning. The family really enjoys it on Sunday evenings after our family dinner.

I love coffee but I only drink a cup a day so this was the perfect solution for me. If I consider all the coffee I normally throw away I think the price would probably be similar to K-cups. These machines allow you to make a variety for guests and yourself without making an entire pot of one kind. I love this so much I bought one for my office as well.
Pros:
Built well, fast brewing
Cons:
Too many varieties
No cleanup
Too convenient

I'll keep this short and sweet for the Decaf drinkers out there.
I switched to decaf about 9 months ago and have missed the regular full caf since day one of that switch. I was and still am a coffee snob. No matter what coffee I tried, the decaf tasted like, well, decaf. In short, it was terrible. Then I purchased a Keurig. The decaf assortment that came with the machine tasted quite nice. I then purchased a reusable filter and started brewing my own Peete's Decaf French Roast and I fell in love with coffee again. If you really like good coffee and think that decaf is a almost as bad as no coffee at all, then try the Keurig and some Peete's decaf and fall in love with coffee again.

I bought this item based on the recommendation by Rush Limbaugh on his radio show. Apparently a similar type of machine has been used for years commercially (in businesses) with great success. Now here is a version for home use. It's FABULOUS!!! My husband and I absolutely love it. I drink tea and he drinks coffee and we can enjoy both without any trace of the other from the brewing process. I HIGHLY recommend this product....more info - Better convenience, better design, and far better tasting coffee.
I was a big fan of Senseo for a while, then it became old loading two or even three coffee pods for a reasonable sized cup of coffee. When Senseo says a "cup," they literally mean a one cup measure. That is a very small amount of coffee! I had to get the optional large size water container as well, so I was not constantly refilling the reservoir. Also, the Senseo is messy: You are constantly throwing away wet, dripping coffee pods. The Keurig solves all of these problems, and most importantly: THE COFFEE TASTES BETTER!!! This is, admittedly, a matter of taste. But consider that each, individual Keurig pod is completely sealed until use. They stay fresh. The Senseo pods come in a bag, and once the bag is open, all the Senseo pods are exposed to air and they are not air or moisture tight. From that moment on, the clock is ticking and the Senseo pods are degrading. The Keurig machine is clearly the winner on all fronts: Better convenience, better design, and far better tasting coffee....more info - Keurig v. Tassimo. I have both.
The Keurig B60 beats the Tassimo in all categories. I bought the Keurig for the home and we have a Tassimo at the office. Keurig pros...leave on all the time..it's ready to use, I can find coffee at my local Bed, Bath and Beyond and Target easily, you can use the hot water w/o the inserts for hot cereal, hot tea of my own choosing, oatmeal, etc for the kids...would buy it again almost for that one reason alone.
Cons against Tassimo..hard to find coffee and only one tea option, instructions say to turn it off when not in use, therefore, it takes longer to warm up and get ready, loud, and won't allow you to use hot water w/o a pod.
As soon as economy turns around, I'll send the Tassimo to Salvation Army and buy a Keurig for the office as well....more info - This is a great product
I received this item for Christmas and I love it! Easy, and really convenient for me as I rarely want more than one cup of coffee and making a pot is such a waste. My parents gave me the machine and 3 variety pack boxes of coffee and I've had fun trying all of them. I highly recommend the Keurig Kcup system for anyone who's single, or just wants an occasional cup of coffee with a minimum of fuss....more info - Ms. Sims
This is a coffee-lover's dream. I couldn't imagine having such wonderful cups of coffee, with just the touch of a button. There are so many varieties of coffee places that offer K-Cups. The best thing about this coffee maker is, you can buy a reusable filter and use any coffee grinds. If I didn't already have one, I would definitely by a new one. I LOVE IT!...more info
