Product Description
The sequel to the Razor A, the Razor A2 adds its own distinctive style to Americas favorite scooter.Great for recreation and short commutes to school and work. Always wear protective gear.
The original kick scooter just got a whole lot better, making it even more fun for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the Razor A2 will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest. The Razor A2 is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Razor combined the traditional aluminum construction, however, with a number of recent innovations, including a springless shock system that makes bumpy pavement feel smoother than ever and an all-new wheelie bar that guarantees an extra dollop of fun. Add in the foldable T-tube and deck, which tuck together to create a compact footprint (ideal for carrying when riding isn't appropriate), and you have a great kick scooter for virtually any situation. Other details include an enhanced finger guard, 98 mm inline-style wheels, and a patented rear fender brake for quick stops. This version of the Razor A2, which weighs around 6 pounds and supports up to 143 pounds, sports green handlebars, a green deck logo, and green wheels and is recommended for ages 5 and older. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A3 Scooter. Key Features: - For riders ages 5 and older
- Sturdy aluminum construction
- Weighs approximately six pounds
- Retractable kickstand
- Rear fender brake
- Enhanced finger guard
- Patented folding mechanism
- 143-pound user weight capacity
- Six-month warranty
The buyer and rider of the Razor A2 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

Customer Reviews:- great scooter for the $$
bought this scooter for my 8-year-old daughter after looking in stores and reviewing prices online....the size is appropriate, the price was right, and the quality seems good....i am pleased with this purchase....more info - 7-year-old loves it!
We originally bought this scooter from a sporting goods store thinking we had the green one, when it was actually the black one. So that's a tip - it's hard to tell from the box which color you are getting. However, my son really wanted the green one, which is why we returned the black one and ordered the green one from Amazon. As far as scooters go, it's a good, standard scooter. What makes it different is the cool green color, which he loves, and no one else on the street has one like it. We bought two of our other sons the black ones, and now I wish I had gotten different colors for them too....more info - Razor Scooter
Excellent quality. Just what we were expecting. My 6 and 9 year old boys love their scooters....more info - Daughter loves it.
This is exactly what my daughter wanted. Got it out of the box and hit the road. ...more info - Terrible Christmas day experience with this product
I bought this product through Amazon for my nephew for Christmas. When he opened it on Christmas day, we realized it was damaged and it was very difficult to insert the handles, since one of the metallic tubes where the handles are inserted was bent. Of course, returning it was not an option, since my nephew had been waiting for this scooter for quite some time... I had to use a hammer and spend some time trying to assemble it. Totally unacceptable, it is definitely lack of Quality Control, I am sure it did not get damaged during the shipping, since the box where it came was very big and it was well packaged.
I am not sure I will buy toys at Amazon again.... could it be that they sell irregular products????????...more info - Super fast Scooter
Fast, Solid and has all the features our son wanted. Wheelie bar in the back is a real bonus of fun....more info - Gift for a 5 year old

My kids loved their Razor scooters. My teenager still rides his around sometimes and it is beat up but still works. In the years since I bought my first Razor the price has come down and you can order it in the color you like. You can pack it easily in the trunk and take it to a park. This is a lot of toy for the money.

Two years ago I purchased two of these for my (now) five year old twins and just recently purchased this one for my two and a half year old because he was always vying for one of theirs. When I bought them for the twins they were about $25 each. I was shocked when I saw the price increase, but wasn't willing to purchase the less expensive model that got strong negative reviews. Knowing just how much use it will receive over the next few years makes the price tag worth it. I also got a razor scooter for the five year olds hoping to ease them into a two wheeled scooter, but they so far want nothing to do with it. And so now all three of my little ones zoom around on these micro scooters with ease, banking it just by shifting their weight. I was also very pleased with the communcation and extremely quick delivery of the person I purchased it through, micromom.com. ...more info - Pink Razor Scooter
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter after seeing her ride a friend's scooter... she loves it! Easy to ride and no assembly required. ...more info - Kick Scooter Lots of Fun
We gave this scooter( the Purple colored one) to our daughter for her 8th birthday. She has had loads of fun on it, and it's a good, durable product at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend it....more info - Great fun
We have purchased two of these scooters, pink and green, and both my girls love them. They are 6 and 8 years old, and the scooters have become one of their favorite outside activites. I like that they fold up so I can throw them into our car and take them to the park. They are very sturdy, holding up well even after many drops on the concrete. ...more info - Great scooter for my little one!!
Got this scooter for my son for his 4th B-day and he loves it. It's just his size, was easy to unfold and rides smoothly (tried it out myself =)). It was also a great price for a beginner scooter and I liked that there were multiple color choices....more info - Nice scooter
My daughter loves her Razor A2 scooter. We bought our son a different brand scooter for Christmas and it is a horrible scooter, we should have bought him a Razor. The wheels on the Razor give a much smoother ride and less road noise than the the generic Razor. ...more info - No complaints!
My 8yr loves this! I like the fact her scooter is a different color then the other kids on the block. ...more info - Rozor A2 Kick Scooter Kicks B***
Bought this for my 4 year old boy and lives on it! So far it has been bullet-proof. It is simple enough to learn and use, convenient to break down for transport, small enough to be easily portable and thus far no problems at all, despite typical 4-yr-old rough care. Even the finish has held up well. Given its price point, I think this is a great buy and something likely to last a long time--adjustable handle bars ensure the scooter will be useful for years. It appears to be built to last. If you are looking for a simple and hardy scooter that works well at a good price, this is it!...more info - Sturdy and stylish
This scooter will last a long time. We search a long time to find a green one and we're glad we waited. My daughter thinks the color is very stylish, but could easily be a boy color....more info - Scootin' Right Along
We ordered two of these this Christmas. We have a 4 year old and a 6 year old. They love them, and we didn't even have to assemble any parts. They just unfold, and then they fold right back up for storage or travel. The boys took theirs with them to visit Grams and Pawpaw....more info - Wow
I got my razor scooter 6-7 YEARS AGO and it is still the funnest, most economic toy I've probably ever bought. Good job razor....more info - Great buy...great value!
I purchased this for my 6 yr old son for Christmas and he loves it! My son still rides his bike with training wheels but I thought that this might get him on the road to learning balance and so far so good on this note...he initially only wanted to ride with one foot on the scooter but now has enhanced his balance to the point where he regularly rides with both feet on the scooter. When he gets home from school he wants to immediately ride his scooter.
This is a great product and a great value. I like how it folds up for easy stowage in the car....more info - My daughter's favorite gift this Christmas
My 5 1/2 year old daughter LOVES her Razor! It is by far the favorite gift she received this Christmas. It is very easy for her to ride and maneuver. ...more info - Gift for a 5 year old

My kids loved their Razor scooters. My teenager still rides his around sometimes and it is beat up but still works. In the years since I bought my first Razor the price has come down and you can order it in the color you like. You can pack it easily in the trunk and take it to a park. Great price, free shipping & my son LOVES this scooter! This scooter was a very good buy!...more info - Great for the price!
My 8-yr old daughter loves this scooter! Nothing fancy, but it's all she needs in a scooter. She's about 54 inches tall and it is perfect for her at the highest handle setting. Folds up nice and small so we can take it when we travel and the price is great. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the mechanism to close it is sometimes hard to work and she can't do it herself....more info - okay for kids, not enough for an adult
I purchased this for myself as I needed a scooter to accompany my son on rides through the park. It looks good and is perfect for a child but the handlebars are too short to accomodate my 5'6" frame. I felt that this wasn't made clear in the product information. My son loves it so we traded....more info - Good Buy
Razor A2 Kick Scooter (Red, Clear, Blue, Green or Purple) I bought this for my 7-year-old granddaughter. She loves it! It's sturdy, very well made, and it boogies (as she says). It's definitely not just for boys. Very good buy!...more info - Love the Razor
My 4 1/2 year old has been asking for one ever since he rode his friends. It was finally the right time and I must say it's been great! We even were able to pack it in our luggage for a trip to Hawaii. He rides it ever day, it's so easy to use for him and his balance has gotten really good. He is on the athletic side so that might have something to do with it. Either way, I wish I had one for me!...more info - Great Scooter
I got this scooter for my 5 year old boy. He absolutely loves it. It's well made and easy enough for kids to adjust the handle height on their own. Compared to his old scooter, this Razor moves much more smoothly and faster....more info - Wonderful!!!
My 4 year old LOVES this. Its a nice scooter, and a sharp color. Great buy and its holding up well. She's had it now for a little over a year and it still looks brand new, even after a few wipe-outs....more info - Good kids scooter
We purchased two of the A2 scooters (purple and green), and our kids really love them. For me personally (a middle-aged man), they remind me of skateboarding as a kid. I was initially hesitant to get scooters, because I recall that there were many hand injuries from the early models. After examining the A2 however, I don't think there's much risk of that anymore. The handles are locked into the stem using a positive locking button nub, and the stem itself is locked using a clamp very much like your bicycle seat stem. The scooter's frame is heavy duty enough to hold my weight (165 pounds), so it's plenty strong enough for most kids.
Overall, the kids love the scooters. And for the price (around $40 shipped), I couldn't find anything better that would get the kids outside doing some physical activity.

This is a fairly good scooter but it has two problems. By the way this is my moms account I'm actually a guy but that isn't all that important. First and formost it has a wheelie bar making tailwhips and many other tricks twice as dangerous. If anybody knows the point of them please feel free to tell me. Also it isn't that sturdy and I broke mine jumping a gap. If your seriosly into scootering get the pro model and if you just hate wheelie bars like me get the A model.Razor Pro Model Kick Scooter (Clear or Red) ...more info
