I bought one for my son because he kept dropping and breaking plastic water bottles. This one doesn't break, but it does dent really easily. After 2 weeks, his was so banged up it doesn't stand upright any more. Also, they are a PAIN to clean, both the bottle itself and the sport top. It's not so bad if you only drink water, but if you want to use it for sport drinks, it's a lot of bother. Next time I'll get him a Platypus water bottle....more info - exactly what i needed.
lovely color, lovely product. durable. i travel with it to work, and keep it in the fridge. I have no complaints about it. I do wish the opening was as wide as the KleanKanteen, tho. I can insert ice cubes into my KK bottle, and this opening is just wide enuf to fit under a faucet, or water cooler spout. When cold, this bottle doesn't sweat as much as the KK bottle does. I guess thats why KK does a hard sell on the insulated sleeves. I recommend the Sigg, and I would get another, or buy as a gift....more info - Sigg Bottles are Great!
I own four of these bottles now, and love them all.
Not only are they great the the environment (no more plastic bottles!!), but they look great, too! It's a fashion statement all it's own! :)
It says not to put them in the dishwasher, but I always do and haven't had any problems!

This bottle is fine but when I bought was not informed that this top bottle is the right one to use as reservoir but not the one to drink during a bike class.Wld be better to offer the top bottles available with some explanation of the uses....more info - Good looking, but easily bruised
I bought both the Sigg and Kleen Kanteen (with plastic and SS tops). The Sigg is better looking, but bruises more easily than the KK. You have to decide if the coating, which the company claims is secret, has any effect on the Water, and your health. I personally prefer the KK with the SS top. The SS top fits better than their plastic ones....more info - Think Green

I was happy with this purchase. I liked how the bottle had no smell when you drank it and it is good size.
The only problems that I had with it, is that the head of the bottle is pretty small (not good for easy cleaning) and next time I would get more durable all stainless steal bottle instead of one with a plastic outside.

This bottle is GREAT! I was a huge fan of the Nalgene bottles and owned 3 of them, and though mine never turned cloudy or showed signs of degradation, I was concerned about the BPA scare. This aluminum bottle from SIGG is VERY lightweight, stylish, and as the description says, it leaves absolutely no aftertaste or anything after having various liquids in it. Easy to maintain and easy to open and drink from without excess noise, unlike some alternatives. Highly recommend this bottle! I'm picking up a second as a backup....more info - Love it!

This is an upscale designer water bottle, top of the line in every way. The designs of Sigg's water bottles are gorgeous--even the plain, solid color bottles are beautiful--but the ones with designs are even better, in my opinion. This one is not only beautiful but carries a cool message in a seventies-type font---"Make Love Not Landfill"!
I switched from regular plastic water bottles because of health concerns, even though I thought a permanent bottle like this would take more work to maintain. These do necessitate regular cleaning (I clean mine every day), but having something so beautiful to drink from makes the cleaning less of a chore. Sort of like my rings, glasses, and watch, I now consider my Sigg personal water bottle a vital accessory, reminding me to drink more water, making a statement about my values, and expressing myself with a special design.
Sigg of Switzerland water bottles are very high quality, made of light aluminum on the outside, slightly insulated, and covered with a special powder coat on the inside that prevents any leaching whatsoever, unlike plastic and polycarbonate water bottles. They are light, durable, and perfect for any activity. Well water tastes spectacular in these bottles, just like from the tap. They do dent if dropped on a hard surface at a particular angle, but Sigg fans (including me) view this as a type of "seasoning", so that your bottle acquires character. The dents are on the outside layer of the bottle, not the inside layer and so don't interfere with any functionality.
Sigg bottles come with several different types of tops. This bottle has a screw top, which I prefer. I don't mind unscrewing the top when I want a drink. It is totally leak proof, which is important to me. The top is pretty and can be hooked onto a carabineer. If you ever lose the top, you can buy them separately.
Sigg makes their personal water bottle in many sizes. I have quite a few, and like this 1L size for my car and other uses that require a lot of water (like a long hike).
This bottle may seem expensive, but it is so durable that you can plan on it lasting many years. I consider Sigg bottles both an accessory and an investment in my health, so they are well worth it value-wise for me.
Note that Sigg water bottles should not be used to contain boiling water, as this will damage the outer coating. They also cannot be left in the freezer, as it may crack. They can be used for carbonated beverages, if you leave about a half inch of room at the top.
Highly recommended.

When I got this waterbottle I was a little disappointed. The bottle is sharp looking, but is made out of very thin steel. I can easily squeeze and bend the middle of the waterbottle. Just the other day i dropped it in the kitchen, and not to my suprise a huge dent was in the top. Now I am very active person, so what if I would have dropped this when I was out hiking or climbing? I was looking for the perfect reusable bottle and I found it. The SIGG is exactly what I wanted in a water bottle. I bought the 1 litre size so I usually drink about 3 a day and it helps me stay hydrated. It's simple to clean, has a great seal so you don't have to worry about leaks and its solid and sturdy so I expect to be using it for years to come. The best part is that there's no plastic to ruin the flavor of your water. No more plastics breaking down in your water or piling up in the landfills....more info - great product

I love my new Sigg! I don't have a single complaint. It's totally cute. It holds plenty of water for a whole work day. Has a nice smooth screw top, with a perfect finger ring, that doesn't leak at all! And best of all no worry of BPF. Do note however 1. I love this water bottle! Everyone loves the design on it, too. The only thing I was surprised with was that the outside was easier to dent that I'd expected. I dropped it on a rock and it dented the bottle. It's just a little dent, though, so the bottle is still usable. I hadn't owned a Sigg before, so people who have probably already know the strength of the outside layer....more info - Love this thing
This bottle has constantly generated compliments both from Sigg lovers and curious people wanting to know what it is. The design in unlike any other Sigg i have seen. My g/f has the red with waves and she wanted to take mine because she said mine looked better. Keep water very cold for long periods of time, and I have actually found myself drinking more water now instead of depending on soda or other juices. What a beautiful design! It is light, and easy to drink from. My only two complaints are that there is slightly more contrast in the design in this photo than there is in real life (no purple, just red), and I'd like it if the bottle was a little bit smaller. While the bottle itself is light, when you fill it up with water it gets very heavy and cumbersome to carry around. Amazon likes to play games, the colors don't match the description on the site, and they send you the wrong color. I ordered the black with white stripes, and got the ugly Ecological bottle.

I purchased this bottle about five months ago and I really like it! I have used it every day. It has been dropped, full and empty, so it has a few dings in it but barley shows them because the majority of the bottle is black. It has a nifty design and is sort of a conversation piece....more info - The price for style
This bottle looks super cool ("make love not landfill"), but it doesn't keep water cold for very long. The bottle stays cold most of the day, but the water is only room temp. Basically, you pay the extra money to look cool. It works as well as my $3 plastic bottle from walmart.

This is the second sigg bottle I've ordered, and it's great! I got it to go camping, but we haven't been yet, so I don't know how durable it is. It doesn't make the water taste bad at all, and it's pretty easy to clean....more info
